Franklin Ifeanyi Ekelem has been a proud member of Lions Clubs International since 2023 and is committed to humanitarian service, health equity, and community leadership. Through his Lions and community service, he has helped organize and support free medical, dental, and vision clinics serving uninsured, underinsured, immigrant, and refugee populations. His work reflects a lifelong commitment to expanding access to healthcare, addressing health disparities, and building sustainable partnerships that create lasting impact both locally and internationally.

Professionally, Franklin has a background in biomedical research, pharmaceutical development, project management, and community health. He previously served as a Senior Research Associate in pharmaceutical research and holds a Master of Business Administration in Project Management, along with undergraduate training in Biochemistry.
Franklin remains committed to servant leadership, mentorship, advancing health equity, and using service, research, and leadership to strengthen access to quality healthcare for underserved communities.
